ENVRI-FAIR, is an H2020 project launched in early 2019 to bring together European research infrastructures on the theme of the environment and the earth system (Atmosphere, Ocean, Solid Earth and Biosphere/Ecosystems.
It is the connection of the Cluster of Environmental Research Infrastructures (ENVRI) to the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). It is a four-year project running from January 2019 to December 2022.
The overall objective is to build a set of FAIR data services in the participating research infrastructures that improve the implementation of these principles in the work of researchers, support innovation, enable data and knowledge-based decisions, and connect the ENVRI Cluster to the EOSC.
The Data Terra IR Data Clusters are involved in this project, including :
the AERIS cluster, through two of the main atmospheric infrastructures: ACTRIS and IAGOS,
the FORM@TER cluster, with the European research infrastructures for solid earth: EPOS and EMSO,
the ODATIS cluster, with the European research infrastructures for the oceans: Euro-Argo and SeaDataNet, directly integrated into WP9 “Marine Subdomain”.
