European projects
Data Terra is contributing to a range of European projects under the auspices of several research programmes.
The PHIDIAS project aims to develop and build a suite of inter-disciplinary services and tools based on high-performance computing (HPC) to exploit large satellite datasets of European public interest.
It is being deployed in four successive phases, each one engaging new funding to support innovation and growth potential in France.
The EOSC*-Pillar project seeks to offer European scientists and science and technology professionals a virtual European space for managing research data. It consists of open-science, transparent services to store, manage, analyse and reuse these data across scientific disciplines. Its aim is to coordinate national open science efforts in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany and Italy.

The ENVRI-FAIR project broadly aims to build a suite of FAIR data services at participating research infrastructures in order to improve how these principles are implemented by research scientists, with a view to supporting innovation, informing data- and knowledge-based decisions and connecting the ENVRI cluster to the EOSC.
The Blue-Cloud Services project is the first part of the Future of Seas and Oceans Flagship Initiative resulting from a Horizon 2020 call for proposals. It is the ‘marine’ strand of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC).
This three-year project is seeking to exploit the potential of open science based on ‘clouds’ to implement a set of services geared towards gaining new insights into and managing the many aspects of ocean sustainability, through a series of five Blue-Cloud pilot demonstrators.
