Satellite Meteorology 2023 Conference – EUMETSAT

The EUMETSAT Satellite Meteorology 2023 Conference took place in Malmö, Sweden, from 11 to 15 September.

EUMETSAT partnered with the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute, Sweden’s national provider of meteorological, hydrological and climate services, to organise and run the event.

The EUMETSAT Users’ Conference has become a major annual event for the meteorological and scientific communities, where participants from all over the world can meet to share their experience and knowledge in plenary sessions, posters and workshops.

The theme of the 2023 edition is “The evolution challenge for Earth observation satellites, from technology to operations”. The Aeris cluster was present at the event with a dedicated stand. Conferences were organised on 13 September: the first on our greenhouse gas data (spot 6.24) and the second on the work for the Microcarb satellite mission data portal.
