DINAMIS | Progress of the coverage 2021 Metropolitan France Spot 6-7
DINAMIS, the National Institutional Mutualized Satellite Imagery Supply System integrated with IR Data Terra, continues to acquire coverage of metropolitan France with Spot 6-7 very high spatial resolution sensors. Launched on April 1, 2021, the acquisition is progressing rapidly.
The illustration below shows the status of coverage as of May 21, 2021, with 45% of mainland France imaged at 1.5-m spatial resolution: 98 of the 240 grid cells covering the entire country have been acquired.
The entire 2021 Spot 6-7 coverage should be completed by September 2021. The products will then be sent to IGN for mass orthorectification to make them RGE (Référentiel à grande échelle) compatible.
Pending delivery of the 2021 vintage in late 2021 or early 2022, the orthorectified Spot 6-7 products manufactured with the Montpellier terminal (IGN references) will be put online in the DINAMIS catalog.
