DATA-SDUE: THEMATIC SCHOOL OF EARTH DATA SCIENCE
DATA TERRA sponsors the DATA SDUE school , organized by the CNRS-INSU. Four days to learn how to survive in the jungle of data in the sciences of the universe and the environment !
From October 10 to 14, 2022 , in Strasbourg, the stages of the data cycle will be the heart of this training which will reveal all the secrets of FAIRized data in the rules of the art. From its collection to its distribution, you will know in particular which format to apply to it, which thematic repository to choose, how to specify its metadata, establish DOIs, etc.
The presentation of the national data management landscape
You will discover the accessible services of INIST, UMS BBEES, the SIST network of CNRS-INSU and our research infrastructure DATA TERRA . The latter will support your learning by offering a real and experienced framework of the data cycle with conferences and lessons proposed by Joel SUDRE from the Odatis hub (oceans), Sylvie GALLE from the Theia hub (continental surfaces), Emilie DESCHAMPS – OSTANCIAUX from the Form@ter hub (solid earth) and Sebastien PAYAN from the Aeris hub (Atmosphere).
Knowledge of the data cycle is the pillar of its management and open science , this training is open to anyone in charge of data management in Earth System and Environmental Sciences (in French)
