OCEANIA GEOSPATIAL SYMPOSIUM 2022 TAUHA
The Oceania Geospatial Symposium (OGS) is a unique event serving the Pacific community to be held from November 28 to December 4, 2022 . Its main objective aims to promote the use of space observation data applied to knowledge of the Pacific territory, water resources and management of wetlands and maritime activities.
DATA TERRA supports the OGS and will be present at the 2022 edition with its AERIS (atmosphere), FORM@TER (solid earth), ODATIS (oceans) and THEIA (continental surfaces) clusters and its imaging device space DINAMIS.
The event is placed under the sign of TAUHĀ, name of the Southern Cross in Polynesian, in homage to the navigators who have long used it to find their bearings on the sea and symbolic link between all the territories of the region which have it. depicted on their flag.
